Classic Argentine Delight with Chocolinas and Dulce de Leche
Note Chocotorta is one of Argentina's simplest and most beloved desserts. To enjoy the authentic taste, please stick with Chocolinas cookies and traditional dulce de leche. Substitutions are not recommended for this classic treat!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 packs of Chocolinas Cookies
- 300g dulce de leche
- 300g milk cream (spreadable cheese can also be used)
- 300ml liquid of your choice (milk, chocolate milk, or coffee)
- A square container

Prepare the Creamy Filling: In a bowl, mix the dulce de leche and milk cream until well combined.

Dip the Cookies: Quickly dip the Chocolinas cookies in your chosen liquid, ensuring they are moistened but not soggy.

Layer the Cookies: Place the dipped cookies in the base of the square container, creating an even layer.

Add the Filling: Pour the dulce de leche mixture on top of the cookies, spreading it to create a thin layer about 1-2 mm thick.

Repeat the Layers: Continue layering dipped cookies and the creamy filling, repeating steps 3-4 until all the cookies are used up.

Chill and Set: Place the assembled Chocotorta in the fridge for at least 10 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.
